Condominium Association

The Board of Directors of the Arlen House West Condominium Association consists of nine members, four are elected one year and five are elected the next year; the Board is the governing body of the Association. Board members are elected for a two year term and must be Arlen House unit owners. The Board election is held at the Annual Meeting every January. Each unit is entitled to one vote at the Annual Membership meeting. Any residential unit owner is eligible to run for the board. The Arlen House Condominium Association operates and manages the affairs of our condominium. The Board of Directors is responsible for carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the Association and sets policy with regard to the management of the buildings and grounds. Meetings of the Board are conducted under the Laws of Florida (in particular FS Ch 718) and in accordance with the latest edition of Robert's Rules of Order. Notices of meetings are posted on the bulletin boards in the mail room, main lobby, service areas and by email, on request. All meetings of the Board are open for all unit owners to attend and participate within certain rules established by the Board.

The Arlen House West Condominium Association, Inc was incorporated 1973 and the condominium was created by its Declaration of Condominium That document together with its amendments and applicable parts of Florida Statute 718 establish the rights and obligations of the Association. The main lobby has a mail room with bulletin board, lounge area, card room, business center, billiards room, fitness room, real estate office, restrooms, and three passenger elevators that serve all floors.
The lower lobby has a service entrance, mini mart, beauty salon, masseuse, freight elevator, filtered water fountain, men's sauna, woman's sauna, restrooms, and the management office.
Parking for service and delivery vehicles is adjacent to the service entrance which is located at the east end of the building.
A typical floor has elevators, service area, laundry room, tenant storage room, and air handler/electric service room.
